• Nature of the Society:
It is a non-profitable, non-government, non-political, voluntary
and charitable Society.
• Objectives:
- To take up program for promotion of literature, fine art, science and Education.
- To provide community training for social awareness on nutrition, welfare of child
labor, anti-smoking program, anti-drawing programme, protection of rights of child
and women in society, health environmental hygiene, sanitation, use of safe drinking
water, urban and rural issues.
- To arrange the distress people for free medicine, food and work supply.
- To prevent & establish for pollution free in our society.
- To undertake and carry on any humanitarian or charitable program for the poor and
under privileged people.
- Children education, health cares and ecological education will be considered as
one of the major goals.
- To promote mutual understanding, reconciliation, goodwill and confidence building
between the peoples of the Asian countries as well as the globe.
- To encourage interaction among the people of different countries and in this respect
it is important to launch discussion forum on internet on issues of mutual interest
and importance to develop a better understanding, particularly among the younger
generation of different countries as well as the Asians who are living in Bangladesh.
In this respect, membership of the society will also be offered as per rules to
the young members or others of the Asians or the citizens of any other countries
living in Bangladesh. But they will be honorary members and will have no voting
rights.
- To undertake joint studies, higher study programs, research projects, seminars,
conferences, workshops, consultancy, student admission, cultural events, fair and
other exchange programs between the different Asian countries or with others especially
with different research organizations of different countries on different issues.
- To establish a data bank/directory of information on different aspects of regional
cooperation.
- To promote and assist setting up of schools, colleges, universities, research institutes,
mosques, madrasas, maktabs, technical training centers, vocational training centers,
hostels/halls, public health centers, hospitals, clinics, mother and child care
centers, etc. in rural, urban and semi-urban areas of Bangladesh in order to contribute
to overall national development of the country in the field of health, education,
culture, trade and basic rights and also to receive financial and technical assistance
for these purposes.
- To provide scholarship and lump sum grants to poor and meritorious students and
also to promote mass education and to carry out campaign for eradicating illiteracy
in order to create consciousness among the people.
- To build libraries for common people to increase consciousness among them through
study and for expansion of quality education.
- To perform any other act or acts as may be deemed fit by the Executive Committee
helpful in attaining the objectives of the Society.
